advice pls2010-03-25 00:00:00Gearing and spec look pretty good to a off-off-spec kitty. Nice haul for only 50ish badges collected.
Kitty DPS will suffer a bit on anything that dies in under 90 seconds, unfortunately this means poor DPS in most heriocs.
Rotation practice is essential to good DPS, spend a few hours on the dummy till its all muscle memory, it's amazing how much this can increase your DPS if you are still learning!
As for rotation I'll quote the ever-wise druidsock (there's some good info in the Druid 202 sticky!):
Quote:The first step now is to FFF, then Mangle to get a CP then immediately pop SR. Next get Rake going. Now you either Shred or Mangle to generate CPs all while keeping up the assorted buffs and debuffs while not standing in the fire or other assorted raid damage.
The general priority system is as follows:
Is Faerie Fire up, if not FFF
Is Rake up, if not Rake
Is Mangle up, if not Mangle
Is Savage Roar up, if not Savage Roar (try and alw...
Raiding at 602010-03-15 00:00:00For a hunter, raiding isn鈥檛 so different from a 5-man group. Instances that need raids also may have tougher single targets, or more often times where you need to fight several together. In these cases, the tank and healers are important..but as you can see from that statement, again, that is not different from a 5-man.
There are some things you might like from the old lvl 60 instances, such as Blackhand鈥檚 Breadth (or something like that) which gave a 2 crit. If you see groups for that, join them. Otherwise, the reputation needed for faction recipes and such have pretty much been made obsolete by the new recipes and gear in Outlands. Blizzard made a great expansion, but like many mmorpgs before, mak...
Kara Ready?2010-03-06 00:00:00Ok, not to be too critical, as I'm not one to go out of my way to belittle people. This is just constructive criticism.
You have nothing enchanted. At all (save for the axe). I know a few pieces of your gear are still green, but come on. Enchants make a huge difference. The Kara gear guide will tell you every enchant to shoot for. Plus, you'll need the Glyph of Ferocity from CE (might as well wait on that for your helm), and the shoulder enchants from whichever faction you chose. Get a leg patch for you leggings - you might want the Clefthide for the agi boost, but cobra is better IMO.
Also, get a better scope. Even khorium scopes are dropping in prices on my server, but adamantite should be well within reach.
I'd also run SV to death whenever possible for the Beast Lord shoulders and/or leggings. Even though we can't double trap anymore, the 2 piece set bonus is still very nice.
You might want to think about grabbing a Necklace of the Deep. With 2 +8 ag...
Defending the Crown2010-03-02 00:00:00I have been trying to convince a guild mate of mine who is quite stubborn that MM does nowhere near the same amount of raw DPS in PVE as BM. So we decided to see which was king. Keep in mind that we both have about the same quality of gear as well.
Anyway, my guild went to Gruul's and we...
TGIF: This Game is Free #3: Peggle World of Warcraft Edition2009-09-24 00:00:00Ok, so you've probably heard of Peggle, but maybe, just maybe you're one of those few who haven't tried it for whatever reason. While there are other free trials of Peggle out there, none of them are quite like the WoW Edition. It lets you play through 10 WoW-inspired levels (mostly painted backdrops with the inclusion of little bits of WoW fan service), throw down against a friend or a computer player in duels, or even play challenge levels.
The prem...
NCsoft Director Says "New Angles" Needed To Beat WoW2009-09-11 00:00:00NCsoft Europe Director of Development Thomas Bidaux has said in a speech that developers of online games should find their own "ecosystems" in order to sidestep World of Warcraft's dominance, rather than meeting it head-on.
Speaking to the Swedish game expo Nordic Game, Bidaux described World of Warcraft as a "dinosaur," saying, "It's very big, very expensive and everything you can imagine in terms of big and bulky." Unlike traditional dinosaurs, however, he does not see the demise of Blizzard's all-powerful MMOG happening anytime soon. "Going after that monster...
Warcraft Tycoon2009-08-28 00:00:00Warcraft Tycoon's Gold Making Handbook Review The Warcraft Tycoon's Handbook is a gold making guide by WoW guru Steven Rice. The Warcraft Tycoon focuses on a wide variety of gold making tactics to fit your own play style so that you are not dependant on a single method. This means giving detailed maps of incredible mining routes, high profit quick respawn bosses, high profit simply kill mobs, or even amazing advice on how to set up a monopoly on multiple products in the neutral market.
The Warcraft Tycoon gold guide has been used by professionals and newbies alike to get an advantage in the game without having to resort to buying gold online, which is a complete waste of money. I have actually made thousands of dollars myself selling online currency myself and while I do not recommend this action, it is nice to be able to justify the hours I spend in front of a computer screen when people ask what I do.
The key to wealth is to have the i...
Eve Online Guide to Getting Tons of Isk -- Gold Sellers, Missions 2009-08-15 00:00:00This article is originated from www.brighthub.com.
Eve Online players need isk to make sure they can get the ships and weapons they need. There are a few legal and not-so-legal ways to get lots of currency in CCP's popular online space mmorpg. Getting Eve's Currency
An Eve Online player needs to gain isk regardless of his factions. The currency of the game helps the player buy ship repairs, ship part, and the skills he or she needs to pilot his chosen ships correctly. A number of sites exist that sell mmorpg currencies on the net, but the assumption made in this article will be that players wish to obtain the isk in the fashion that is least likely to get them banned. A brief section...

tank, depending on2009-05-31 00:00:00I'm one of 2 mages that tank, depending on who's on. I agree with everyone else, definitely the most boring fight in there. Aane hitap + stam gear + fusounterspell mro = win.
I just tanked it last night (to about 50%) -- then a Tornado warningame and it was getting really bad outside... had to tell the guild that I had to go bause there was a Tornado spotted 5 mins from my apartment. Good times, wed the raid and the raid also had to stop.
It seems like we were left out of the uoming pah. As mh of the pah is nerfbalaing, I guess that's a good thing. However - that would lead me to believe we were 'over-nerfed' in the past.
Ionsider the warlkursehange a mage buff. I'm happy with that, although I wouldn't have kked some other buffs out of bed.

That will be a great addition even when I am the lonely mage. I wish they would have added something... but who knows, probably would have nerfed our dps.
